Bud Ward has proposed Janet Womack for membership in the Florence Rotary Club.  Janet is the new Florence City Schools Superintendent.  She has moved to Florence from Auburn, Alabama.  Janet has a Ph.D. from Auburn University.  She has been very active with Boys & Girls Clubs and has expertise in reaching at- risk youth.  She is Vice-Chair of the Alabama SACS-CASI (accreditation) Council.  She has been on various boards within Auburn's College of Education, she has been very active in her church.  She is married to Keith and has two children, Chase & Lauren.
